Adult Programs

Take advantage of these unique and enriching adult educational programs from Bravo Music Matters.

Free and Easy Concerts

These hour-long concerts take place in relaxed settings throughout the Vail valley. Audiences enjoy a unique chance to interact with musicians in small ensembles and hear timeless music at no charge.

Bravo! Behind the Music

Featured speakers provide an in-depth perspective on the evening’s composers and repertoire.

Music on the Move

Small ensembles perform in casual and beautiful settings such as the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Arrabelle Square and the Vail Farmer’s Market.  Both  seasoned listeners and new audiences enjoy the unique opportunity to ask questions and learn directly from the performers.

Young Professionals-in-Residence

Every summer two first-class ensembles in the early stages of major careers are chosen to perform, teach and learn across the varied spectrum of Festival concerts and education activities.  In 2012 the Festival invites the exciting Jasper String Quartet and the stunning, male vocal ensemble Cantus.

Bravo Internships

Each season Bravo recruits students poised to begin careers in arts administration. Their tenure with Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival has earned them respected positions in the field. Please visit our employment page for details.

Open Rehearsals

Open Rehearsals are a fascinating opportunity to watch musicians work out the music and see how it is shaped by individual artists, conductors and orchestras alike.

Master Classes

A Master Class is a special coaching open to the public, where a younger musician performs for a master teacher. After the performance, the teacher shares observations and pointers on how to improve the piece, while audiences members learn about the subtle techniques of dynamics, phrasing, articulation, tempo and interpretation. .
